On-going Programs
Montreal City Mission holds multiple programs aimed at addressing different difficulties newcomers to Montreal might face.
MCM offers two legal clinics; Just Solutions for vulnerable migrants, and the Roger Snelling Seniors Clinic for people over 55 years of age.
Green SAGE is an offshoot, or tendril, of MCM’s framework for mission and social action called SAGE, whose broad theological aim is to Live with Respect in Creation, and from which is gleaned its mission of ecological care.
Camp Cosmos has been offering a fun and educational summer experience for low income and refugee children for over 40 years.
This program aims to facilitate integration of newcomers, no matter their background, through concrete skills-building and inter-cultural partnerships.
Pedagogy is an important element of all MCM programs and projects. Student interns receive front line training while providing valuable human resources to all of our endeavors.
